Experience Salzburg's old town from the viewpoint of the Salzach!

From the end of March to the beginning of November, the panorama ship "Amadeus Salzburg" offers a sightseeing tour in a class of its own: marvel at the city of Mozart by water.

In the past, it was the salt transports that traveled on the Salzach River and also helped it to get this name. An attempt was also made to launch a passenger boat service on the Salzach. However, this had to be discontinued in 1891 due to the numerous shoals and the then too weak engines. More than a century later, it has been possible to navigate the river again since 2002. The "Amadeus Salzburg" is an ultra-modern ship with up to 60 seats (without outside deck). The unique design with very large glass windows gives you an excellent panoramic view. The ship is an aluminum construction with a draft of only 38 cm. The power of 800 hp accelerates the ship up to 50 km/h.
