Since 1952, the former Café Wernbacher has been considered an “institution” and the founder of the Salzburg coffee house scene. Now the cult café is getting a new shine: Didi Maier will continue to write the story and is opening his new brasserie in this traditional establishment. Where Romy Schneider and Curd Jürgens once enjoyed Salzburg coffee specialties, a new (old) meeting place for regular guests and city lovers will be created from mid-August. Fresh color does come into play, but only enough so that the classic charm of the 50s is retained in the new look and the Wernbacher remains the living room of the Ändraviertel. In addition to the cozy ambience, you will be able to enjoy proven classics, cool cocktails and many new Didi specials here in the future: from a hearty breakfast in the morning to an aperitif in the evening.
